Ember is a voice guide that helps people record, revisit, and share memories with privacy in mind.
Memories are completed, recorded voice conversations about a specific topic. Each memory includes audio, a transcript, a short summary, and any photos you upload to associate with it.
Topics are curated experiences that help sessions feel focused and meaningful. Think of them like different exercise classes - yoga, basketball, pilates - except each one is designed to help you explore a specific kind of memory. Topics are organized in two ways: by era (what time period of your life the topic covers) and by mood (light & funny, reflective, or historical).
Circles are groups of people that help you organize your memories. Think of them like folders and memberships. Every memory belongs to a circle. There are 3 types: "Family" (self-explanatory), "Affiliation" (for school classmates, coworkers, clubs, etc.), and "Self" (your private vault - only you belong to this circle).
Stories are pieces of writing generated from your recorded memories in supported languages and styles. Once a memory is recorded, you can generate a story, edit it, publish it, and share it. Or keep it private, just for you.
