Paying for your circle
Any circle can choose to pay for its members, so nobody has to buy their own plan. Useful for a family where one person organises things, and necessary for most organisations.
- You pay one Campfire plan per person you cover
- Add or remove people whenever you like; billing follows
This is a setting on your circle, not a separate plan.
Free for everyone
Every circle, on any plan, gets 3 transcript imports and 3 audio imports to try. Up to 90 minutes each.
Enough to bring in a few real recordings and see what they become. Not enough to move an archive.
Removing something you imported is always free, on every plan. It is the undo for something you were allowed to do.
Common questions
Why is there a monthly conversation limit?
Every conversation with Ember costs real money to run: the listening, the remembering, the writing. The limits are what let Candle be genuinely free rather than a trial that expires.
What happens to my memories if I stop paying?
They stay yours. You keep access to everything you have made.
Can I have both a Personal plan and pay for a circle?
Yes, and many people do.
Who pays
- If a circle is already paying for its members, that circle pays first.
- If that circle is not paying yet, Ember looks for another circle already covering the activity.
- If no circle is covering you, your own Personal plan pays.
